Everyday use is my benchmark. Construction crews file their reports every evening in a time-tracking tool I built and invoicing runs on it. An industrial company has me handle its whole website from concept to hosting. A marketing agency gets found through its new site and looks good doing it.
I start with the problem and not with the technology. Then I deliver in small steps and there is something new to see every week. AI belongs where it brings real benefit. After launch I stay on it: updates, maintenance and an eye on the visitor numbers.
